NOLA Director/Filmmaker, Kenna J. Moore won the Emerging Vision Award of the 24th Annual New Orleans Film Festival and the Jury Award at 25th Annual New Orleans Film Festival for Best Louisiana Short Film, Church in Black pt.i, featured in MovieMaker Magazine. Kenna is a mentee of the 2015-2016 Emerging Voices Program sponsored by the New Orleans Film Society and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Special invited attendee of 2016 Sundance Artist Services Program, Kenna is the founder of NOLA independent film company, Ghost of Elysian Films. Their mission is to tell stories through the exploration of uncommon perspectives. Kenna is currently on the film festival circuit with her award-winning first feature-length narrative, She Was Famous.
